Gender Pronouns: he, them, theirs

John Jairo always acknowledges their tía for being the main source of inspiration for the work they do. Growing up, John Jairo remembers their tía being a family mobilizer, always bringing the family of cousins and tías and tíos out to protests and cultural events throughout East LA.  As John Jairo went on to university, they continued to be inspired to work with others in solidarity to uplift underrepresented communities. John Jairo brings their skills of creativity and mindfulness practice to their work with students. John Jairo feels very passionate about community empowerment through art, healing and holistic social justice.
