Isabel Gonzalez
Development Coordinator

Gender Pronouns: She / Ella

Isabel Gonzalez fervently believes that empowered and organized people can move mountains on the path toward equity and progress. As the daughter of hard-working immigrant parents, education, well-being, and cultural pride were the bedrocks of her upbringing. Equally so were financial hardships, limited access to resources, and discrimination. Despite the obstacles she faced, Isabel earned her bachelor of arts in political science and Spanish studies from Mount St. Mary's College. Her early life impacted her so deeply that she's made it her life's mission to serve families and communities like hers. Isabel has over eight years of experience working in the non-profit sector to improve education and life outcomes for high-need communities.

In late 2018, she joined InnerCity Struggle as the Early Care Education and Parent Organizer. Her mission here is to connect and engage parents as they work collectively to bring about awareness and expand access to resources in order to support a stronger and more prosperous Eastside.
