Esthefanie is a former United Students member and an alumna of the School of Law and Government at Roosevelt High School. Raised in Boyle Heights, Esthefanie confronted systemic obstacles, but remained driven by the belief that education is not a 'privilege,' but a 'right.' During her time as a Site Organizer at Roosevelt High school, Esthefanie trained students to step into their power and use their voice to organize for critical policy changes and resources including a 5,000+ sq ft Comprehensive School-based Wellness Center.
In 2019, Esthefanie transitioned out of InnerCity Struggle's Youth Organizing Component to begin to build out the infrastructure for a Strategic Communications department as a communications strategist.
