David is a resident of East Los Angeles. At an early age he would attend community meetings with his mom who was a very active resident. Through these experiences and growing up in the Eastside, he learned what it meant to be a part of the community and how powerful the voice of the people united truly is. He attended Garfield High School where he joined InnerCity Struggle through the United Students club in 2013. David currently works with the Community Outreach efforts at InnerCity Struggle to raise the voices and concerns of community needs through day to day outreach and engagement.
