After months of organizing efforts led by students, parents, and community organizations opposing the proposed addition of a 4th year of math/quantitative reasoning to their admission requirements, the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees has listened and we are closer to victory!
The California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees has delayed voting on the potentially harmful proposal until 2022. Instead, they will consider a resolution to launch an independent study on the proposal’s impact.
Join InnerCity Struggle and the Campaign for College Opportunity on January 29, as we rally and celebrate this step toward the right direction. Let's continue to urge the CSU Board of Trustees to invest in solutions that expand resources and support systems instead of excluding students of color from the largest higher education system in California.
